Basics”, developed in collaboration with our partners: the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” and the Young Scientist Council of NTU “KhPI”.

Trends in the Ukrainian energy market in 2025

The transition to sustainable energy is transforming the way we produce, distribute, and consume energy. Currently, fossil fuels account for approximately 80% of the world’s energy supply, resulting in the release of substantial amounts of greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide and methane.

At its heart, the sustainable energy transition is about transforming our entire energy system to fight climate change and support development that lasts. It means not just using cleaner energy but also improving how we use energy overall, investing in new technologies like energy storage, and cutting emissions in important areas like electricity, transportation, and industry.
